It's New Year's Day, 2012. A big year for me; I'll be turning 30 in two months and getting married in five months! So, it's going to be an expensive one! There has been a lot to organise for the wedding, as you would expect. We have done quite well so far, but still have a way to go!
Looking at wedding cars, we were shocked at the prices wedding car hire companies charge, hundreds and hundreds of pounds, just for hiring for a few hours!
So, my other half and I have roped in our brother in law to drive me in his Mercedes, and we are going to hire a car for the bridesmaids from a regular car hire company, at a fraction of the price.
Although no one will really see us in our cars, I'd like to get the bridesmaids something nice for the journey there. It is only about 15 minutes in the car, but will be a nice treat for them. One of my favourites at the moment which I'm hoping they will have available is the new BMW 3 Series. It was first unveiled in October and I've been in love ever since! I wasn't a huge fans of previous models of the 3 Series, they seemed a little dated to me, for some reason. But this model is a whole different story!
It's going to be available as a saloon, Coupe or a convertible. I think I'll stick to the saloon version though, the coupe might be a little difficult to get in and out of in a posh dress, and the girls wouldn't thank me if I sent them off in a convertible just after having their hair done! They go on sale in February, so should give Manchester BMW car hire companies plenty of time to get them in stock!
