One of the best parts of my job is the fact that I get to drive so many different cars. I work at a car auction house which sells a wide range of vehicles at auction to members of the public or representatives from local dealerships, garages or private sellers. There are parts of the auctioning process that are quite exciting, particularly when two bidders are battling each other for a car and end up paying far more than they initially planned on paying and more than it is worth. I myself purchased a car from auction once; a Seat. I had seen the Seat in the auction brochure a few days before and had liked the look of it. I had been saving up money for a while previously and decided that I would go for it and bid on the Seat up to a certain amount of money. Luckily, no one else had bid on the Seat and I was therefore able to buy it for a relatively small amount of money. You can also buy a wide range of parts for your vehicle at a car auction. Part of my job is to categorise and index all of these parts with their appropriate name and the vehicle make/model associated with them. This one of the more boring parts of my job but I do not mind as it is an essential part of my job role. For some reason we seem to always have a lot of Seat Parts, which is great for me.
I would recommend buying a car at auction if you are looking for a cheaper way of buying a vehicle that is in good condition. If you are patient and are willing to wait you will be able to get a bargain.
