When I first saw an advertisement for the Suzuki Splash in Newcastle I was initially surprised. I had never previously seen a car with such a ridiculous name. The Suzuki Splash definitely takes the grand prize for this accolade. I have been living and working in Newcastle since I was born in the 1970's and I could not think of a better city in the country to live in. The weather may be poor but the beer is cheap and the people are friendly. I saw the advert for the Suzuki Splash on a bus stop when I was waiting for the bus to take me to work. I had passed my driving test years ago but for some reason had never got round to buying myself a car. I was fed up with getting public transport due to the amount of times I had been late for work because of late busses. I was also not a fan of standing up for 40 minute journeys. I therefore decided that I would contact the dealership that was advertising the Suzuki Splash and chat to them about the car and see if I could afford it. The very next day I was in a taxi on my way to their dealership in Newcastle to view the vehicle. They had given me a lot of useful information on the telephone and asked me to come in to view the car. My first impressions of the Suzuki Splash were that it was a very stylish looking car. I was a bit worried that I may have forgotten how to drive but to my surprise when I was taking it out for a test drive, I performed fine. I drove a few miles around Newcastle before I made the decision to buy the car.
