When my girlfriend bought her Used Toyota In London a few years ago, it was already pretty worn out. She did not spend long looking for a car before she settled upon the Toyota, from a local used car dealership in London. I told her at the time that she should have spent more time looking for a vehicle that was perfect for her but she was in a rush to start driving herself around. The Toyota was not in very good condition and was showing signs of its age and heavy use, over the years.
A couple of weeks ago she was driving the Toyota to work through London when the car suddenly lost all power and smoke started coming out from under the bonnet. She used the vehicle every day and nothing like this had happened before. I was surprised that the Toyota had not broken down previously due to its poor condition. She contacted a London breakdown company and waited for them to tow her back to our house. Once the Toyota was back at home I took a quick look at it and I was painfully aware that there was a great deal of damage and there would be no point trying to fix it. I contacted a used car garage that specialised in Toyota's and asked them if they were interested in buying the vehicle. They told me to tow it into their garage so they could take a look at it and make up their mind. I used my car to tow the Toyota to them and when I arrived I went straight into the office. They took a quick look at the Toyota and decided that it was not worth their time to buy it from me but informed me that I could scrap it for some cash. I took them up on the offer and also browsed through the cars that they were selling.
