I was driving home from work the other day when I noticed something quite strange at the end of my road. As I turned the corner into my road in London I nearly crashed into a Volkswagen that was parked across the middle of the street. The Volkswagen looked like it had been used by some joyriders and had a couple of smashes windows. It had obviously been abandoned and it was simply unlucky for me and my neighbours that it happened to be our road in that quiet part of London.
I tried to get past the Volkswagen but eventually gave up, admitting to myself that there was not enough room. I then decided to park my car up alongside the Volkswagen and I used my mobile phone to contact the London police. I told them about the Volkswagen and asked when they thought they would be able to send a truck to pick it up. They told me that it should not take too long and that I should continue with my evening. I did as they said and forgot all about it.
In the morning I left my house and walked to where I had parked my car the night before. To my great surprise the Volkswagen was still there and furthermore it did not look like the police had even turned up. My neighbours were also forced to do the same as me and park down the side street. I used my mobile phone to contact the police again and this time they promised that they would be by in the next couple of hours to deal with the Volkswagen. I hope I do not have to become used to not using my drive. If not, I may be tempted to sell the Used Volkswagen In London.
