The Aston Martin DBS first launched onto the market with a starring role in James Bond film, Casino Royale. Believe it or not, this was now over five years ago now and in an effort to generate some new interest in this stunning sports car, Aston Martin have just announced that they are set to release a range of special edition models later this year.
Firstly, the new Cabon Edition comes with a large price tag, at almost 200,000 pounds, which makes it the most expensive Aston Martin model to date, if you exclude the limited edition One-77 model. So, no doubt motorists will be eager to find out more about this new model.
The new Aston Martin Carbon Edition retains the unique shape of the DBS which will definitely help you to stand out from the crowd. You can order this model in two sophisticated colours, a sleek ceramic grey, or the more flamboyant flame orange which will make this model extremely hard to miss! Interestingly, each model made gets seven coats of paint and a 25 hour hand polish to give it a great depth of colour and a fantastic shine.
To justify its name, the car gets a carbon fibre finish on its wing mirrors, rear light clusters and front spoiler. It also features carbon brake discs for a high class finish. This sleek theme continues on inside the cabin to create an elegant and exclusive interior space. To add even more class to this stunning model the roof has been finished with a stunning quilted leather lining.
As you would expect, there is a range of innovative technology and driver aids available including the latest in Garmin in-car technology.
This model is capable of accelerating from 0-62 in just 4.3 seconds, thanks to the 510bph produced from the 6.0-litre V12 engine.
