If you are looking for a used BMW in London then now might be a good time to have a look at the BMW X6. The German premium car maker has been producing the coupe style crossover since 2008; it has 4 seats and is not as practical as the X5. In BMW's SUV line-up it now sits between the X3 and X5.
At the moment the BMW X6 is available with a choice of four engine variants, two diesels and two petrols. The petrol range consists of a 3.0 litre twin turbo with 225 PS and a 4.4 twin turbo with a massive 558 PS. The diesel range is made up of a 3.0 with 235 PS and a twin turbo version of the same engine with 286 PS. The Large petrol V8 on paper sounds too good to not want, but sensibly the twin turbo diesel is probably the better option.
In 2009 BMW launched the X6 M, the high performance version of the X6 " it uses the larger petrol engine and pushes out 555 PS. Other special features on the M model include 6-speed M Sports Automatic transmission with aluminium pull-style paddles on steering wheel, M Dynamic Mode feature and 10 mm (0.4 in) lower Adaptive Drive suspension.
Today BMW has launched the first official pictures of the face-lifted X6 which is due to go on sale from June. There are a couple of new engines to choose from now but not a lot of information has been released about them. Prices for the revised model will start at 46,725.
Exterior changes include new horizontally mounted twin LED light banks and double spoke 19-inch alloys for the BMW X6 xDrive 50i model. On the inside leather interior is standard and comes in black, white or the new red option.
