The Ford Fusion is not yet thought of in the same regard of the Mondeo, Fiesta and Focus due to the fact that it hasn't been around for as long a time, however, there is cause to claim that it is even more successful.
Ever since the Fusion was born in 2006, the midsize saloon has gained popularity and was Ford's best-selling car in 2011. What makes this so impressive is that Ford were reportedly struggling during the height of the recession, like many of its competitors, and it is claimed that the Fusion is largely responsible for Ford staying afloat during these tough times.
However, Ford has now announced that it has enjoyed its biggest profits in 13 years; and it appears the Fusion played its part in helping Ford achieve this. What's more, Ford has realised that it cannot rely on the Fusion to continue with these record sales and in 2013 it is launching the new Ford Fusion to the world in the hope that it can kick start its sales and push on from the dark days of the recession.
One thing is for certain, when the 2013 model is launched the Ford Fusion will definitely make the likes of the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry take note. In keeping with consumer trends and modern technology, the next Fusion will offer three different versions to make it the first saloon to be available in petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid form.
However, if you cannot wait for the new model or if you are content with the existing model then there are plenty of deals about. Personally, I'm a fan of the existing model and will be scanning the used car magazines and visiting the local dealers to see if I can find a bargain on a
