Let's face it, there is no debating that when it comes to manufacturing stylish, reliable, fun and affordable vehicles, Ford has it to a tee. What's more, Ford have a knack of producing an award winning model and sticking to it for a number of years whilst keeping consumers interested. As the old saying goes " "why fix it if it isn't broken?". I can imagine the Ford execs saying this to new designers when discussing models such as the Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo which have been around for many a year. Testament to Ford, the manufacturer has continually reinvented these models and is enjoying record sales and picking up numerous awards along the way.

But is it ever worth waiting until the newest model comes out before you purchase your new car or are they all much of a muchness? For example,the new Ford Mondeo was recently unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show; where consumers were given a chance to view the new hatchback and estate versions despite the fact that the models won't be released until March 2013.

The 2013 Mondeo will, of course, have some new features in comparison with its existing model. For instance, the 2013 Mondeo has a flush-mounted badge which gives it a sophisticated look and there is also a new seating design which offers more legroom to passengers. What's more - for all the gadget lovers out there; there will be a 20cm colour touch-screen on the dashboard that controls everything from the interior climate to the in-car entertainment.

However, for those that aren't prepared to pay over the odds for a new car and aren't fussed about the flush-mounted badge, head to your local dealer to see what bargains are available for a used Ford. With dealers across the country it doesn't matter whether you are looking for a
