Then there is a continuing problem with carcinogens in the form of diethylhexyl phthalate. Further complications have been found within the endocrine system and it being disrupted. It's lead to immune system suppression, birth defects, developmental problems in children and cancer(s). With children the plastic can be changed to glass, but what about in animals? They have no choice and most people feed and water their animals with plastic bowls. No second thought have been given to the damage that the plastic has done to pets. The question then becomes do you want to risk harming your pet in anyway with a plastic food bowl, treat container and water bowl. Doubtful.

Now that you're aware of the damage that is posed by using plastic bowls, dishes and containers, think it through a little further. Seriously, think about it. Have you ever considered that you are feeding your dog 2-3 times a day, plus snacks. That translates into 14-21 times a week, not including all the water that they drink during the day. That translates into 60 - 90 times a month. Which translates into 728 - 1092 times a year. Again, is it worth the risk to your pet, to allow them to be potentially exposed to toxins, ever single meal they eat? Clearly the answer is no. If you didn't love your animal, then you wouldn't have one. Why not love your pet enough that you change to a handcrafted ceramic bowl, that not only is made specifically for your pet, but has bright colors which they'll love to eat from? The glaze is lead-free and should you have a dishwasher, it's also dishwasher safe. Not every place that you would get a piece of artwork for your pet, by a real artist. No you don't have to buy it for your pet. Yes, you can continue to subject them to possible poisons, but do you really want to. No, so connect the dots and love your pet to the next level...get them a ceramic bowl, dish and treat jar, that you know isn't going to contaminate them.
